Hi!
Here is a list so far of free hosting sites. One's in bold are ones I have tried. I will try to keep this up to-date as best as I can.
angelfire.com - 20 Megs of Space, unlimited file size limit.
^ 20 megabytes of webspace & 1 Gig of Bandwidth (per month).
Online file manager, and I believe FTP as well. URL example: angelfire.com/journal2/yourname/
Top & Bottom banners, and sometimes a pop-up or two. Instant account activation.
--------------------------------
freehomepages.com - 50 Megs of Space, unlimited file size limit.
^ A fairly reliable hosting place . Banners at bottom. Supposedly unlimited bandwidth, a free counter included, as well as options for a guestbook.
------------------------------
freewebs.com - 40 Megs of space, unlimited file size limit.
^ I believe they only allow 50 files per account. Text link footer on pages is required. Instant account activation. The reliabity is pretty good too
--------------------------------------
angelcities.com - 100 Megs of space, 1 meg file size limit.
^ They are reliable and almost always online, which makes them great, but the banners can be pesky. Banners on top, or the option of a pop-up. A paying account will get rid of the ads. Instant account activation.
-------------------------------------
fateback.com - 60 MB of Space, multiple sub-domain choices, 200 KB file size limit. Instant account activation. 60 megs of Space counts for all sub-domains added.
